We can hardly believe it – the installation of our Astro turf has officially begun!
Today, our hockey players and coaches rolled out the first section of the Astro turf, marking another significant milestone in the development of our new Astro hockey field.
For our Dallers, this is about so much more than just a new sports facility. It is the result of vision, hard work, faith, and the incredible support of our school community. Every metre of this turf represents another step towards a dream that has lived in the hearts of our players, coaches, staff, parents, alumni and supporters.
Seeing the Astro turf being rolled out for the very first time made the dream tangible. Our hockey players and coaches had the privilege of experiencing this special moment firsthand – a moment that they, and generations of Dallers to come, will remember for many years.
A heartfelt thank you to every individual, sponsor, business, parent, Daller alumna and supporter who has been part of this incredible project so far. Together, we are not just building an Astro – we are building the future of Hoërskool Ben Viljoen hockey.
