What an exceptional day for Hoërskool Ben Viljoen! Our u/14 rugby team took to the fields of Hoërskool Pretoria-Noord today for the prestigious Virseker Noordvaal Division 2 Final against Hoërskool Wonderboom – and what a performance our Dallers delivered!
From the very first whistle, it was clear that this would be a match of character, courage and determination. In a tough, physical and highly competitive encounter, both teams left everything on the field. The score remained close throughout, creating plenty of tension and keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats.
Our Dallers, however, continued to dig deep, support one another and fight until the very end. Through incredible teamwork, discipline and an unwavering belief in each other, they eventually secured a 29–21 victory!
But this victory means so much more than just another trophy. It is the third trophy that this exceptional u/14 team has added to the Dallers’ trophy cabinet this year.
Earlier in the year, the team were crowned NWU Series champions, after which they also won the Limpopo Final. Today, they brought their remarkable season to the best possible conclusion by also claiming the Virseker Noordvaal Division 2 title.
We are incredibly proud of every single player who has been part of this team. Throughout the season, you have shown that success is not only about talent, but also about hard work, sacrifice, discipline, perseverance, and never giving up.
To our players: Today, you did not simply win a final – you wrote a chapter in Hoërskool Ben Viljoen’s rugby history. You wore the Daller jersey with immense pride and showed what it means to fight for one another, for your school and for your team.
To our coaches and support staff: Thank you for the countless hours of hard work, preparation, guidance and sacrifice that have contributed to this success. This achievement is a reflection of the incredible team effort that has been put in throughout the entire season.
And to our Daller supporters: Thank you for every cheer, every voice from the sideline and every bit of support. Your support makes a difference!

This u/14 team has shown us this year that when a group of young men stand together, work hard and believe in one another, great things are possible.
Three trophies now stand proudly in the cabinet – but the greatest prize is the pride and memories this team leaves behind.
