On Saturday, 15 August 2026, our cross-country athletes participated in the LIMA Cross-Country Championships. The championships took place at HTS Tom Naude in Polokwane, where our Dallers competed against some of the best cross-country athletes in the region.
In the u/15 Girls’ 4 km race, Shiniska du Plessis and Zerelda Taljaardt proudly represented the Dallers. Shiniska completed the 4km in an excellent time of 19:35, while Zerelda finished the distance in 20:17.
Omphile Tshikane competed in the u/20 Men’s 8km race, completing the challenging distance in a strong time of 31:13.
