Our u/14 girls’ hockey team participated in the Big Schools B Division of the Noordvaal Competition from 13 to 16 August 2026. The competition took place at Hoërskool Dr Malan in Meyerton, where our girls had the opportunity to test themselves against strong schools.
In the pool matches, our girls unfortunately lost 0–1 to Hoërskool Secunda, followed by a 1–2 defeat against Midstream College. However, the team did not give up and continued with determination in the playoffs.
In the playoff round for positions 10 to 12, the Dallers played to a 0–0 draw against Hoërskool Oos-Moot. The match was then decided through an 8-second shootout, where our girls emerged victorious with an impressive 2–0 win.
We then faced Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen in the playoff for 9th and 10th place. Despite hard work, our girls unfortunately went down 0–2.
The Dallers therefore finished the Noordvaal Competition in 10th place. Congratulations to our u/14 girls’ hockey team on their perseverance, teamwork and Daller spirit throughout the competition. We are proud of every player who gave her best!
